Hello!
My name is Corina Bueno, a photographer based in Wichita, Kansas. I specialize in food and product photography.
I studied painting and graphic design. I was a graphic designer for 22 years but it was in 2012 that I decided that photography was the area that energized me enough to trade my love for design for the camera.
During that time, I started shooting food photography and quickly fell in love with this new genre. I was drawn into food photography in particular because of how challenging it was. Like every great photograph, food photography requires excellent composition, unique lighting skills, passion, style, improvisation and a great subject.
I still love the core of what graphic design means. For me that is texture through typography, overall color and design, spatial relationships and does the product and its capabilities shine. It’s those elements that I love about design, but now I apply them through my photography.
